Sheldon had the day off of work since the doctor he works for was out of town. We decided to head to the Dole Pineapple Plantation and then we headed to Haleiwa Beach.
Here's Jace in the morning ready to head out and do something fun.
We rode the Pineapple Express Train that took us on a 20 minute tour of the pineapple fields. Jace was really excited to ride the train and started clapping when it pulled up to the train station. He was ready to get off the train about 10 minutes into the ride so the last 10 minutes he was pretty restless. It was still fun though!
They have a Koi pond there and Jace was very entertained between looking at the fish and the birds. We had fun feeding the fish! He was mad when we left and probably could have stayed there for a really long time.
We also got some pineapple ice cream that we all enjoyed. We had fun walking around the plantation looking at all the pineapple plants.
We took turns snorkeling at Haleiwa Beach and we saw some sea turtles. It was so fun to swim with them.
Jace had a lot of fun playing with this dad in the water. Jace has no fear and will run right into the ocean. He also gets mad when we hold onto him but he didn't mind when his dad threw him up in the air and let him sit on his shoulders. Sheldon's such a fun dad!
We also really enjoyed the beautiful sunset. It was nice that Sheldon had a day off in the middle of the week so we could enjoy a fun day together!

I can't think of a better treat than pineapple ice cream from Dole. Lucky you!
