Believe it or not, but we have officially lived in the same place for more than three months! Wahoo!! The last year of rotations really was a lot of fun but we are so happy to be in the same place for awhile. Jace and I had fun at home this month while Sheldon worked hard at his office. We did manage to squeeze some family fun into this month with all of the Halloween activities (more posts to come). I am very busy with my master's program and doing my weekly homework and assignments. Sheldon is the 1st counselor in the young men's presidency in our ward so I was pretty sure a young women's calling was out of the question for me. So I was very surprised when I was called as the young women's president in our new ward. I feel humble, grateful, overwhelmed, and I have already found myself on my knees in prayer a lot trying to sort out how this is all going to work. I thought I was already pretty busy! On top of that, we are busily filling out our adoption paper work in the hopes that another miracle will come to our family. Life is good, but busy at the Olsen's house! I guess you now know why my blog is a month behind. :)

We saw a crane in the lake this month and have watched it fish often. Jace loves pointing it out.
Jace is almost potty trained. We are still working on #2. His normal household attire is just underwear now since he knows how to undress himself very well.
He's started hiding from the camera and only making silly faces when I get it out.
Our dog, Lucky, is always wanting to play or beg for treats.
Here we are taking advantage of the dry, warmer weather. It rains a lot here so when it stops we make a dash for outside.
Jace ran and hid in his tent when I tried to take a picture.
We went to a pumpkin patch and Jace loved the animals and picking out a pumpkin.
Here's Jace with a chicken on his arm. He's been talking about it all month.
He loved the reindeer.
He went down this slide a lot!
We went on a tractor pull to the pumpkin patch. Jace was very impressed.
We had fun watching Jace run to all the pumpkins and say, "See, a pumpkin!"
When we got home we had fun carving them!
Every night until Halloween, Jace and Sheldon lit the Jack o' Lanterns and Jace begged to stay outside to look at them.
I decided to weed our flower beds and Jace had fun helping me.
Here are some high chair pictures this month. Jace really doesn't like sitting in it, but food gets everywhere if he doesn't sit there.
We enjoyed going to Chuck E. Cheese this month. Jace loves the popping the bubbles game.
Sheldon let Jace wear his wig that was part of his Halloween costume. We laughed a lot at this!
Bath time!
Playing outside!!!
Please...no more pictures MOM!! This is how Jace says STOP!
We bought a fire pit and we have had fun sitting outside enjoying our view of the lake.
Jace has figured out he loves walking on the counter tops. He's started going to time out for this one!
We also enjoyed the bounce house again. This is one of Jace's favorite places to play.
Don't event think about climbing up here! Jace was caught red-handed. This is how he is making up on the counter. He's climbing and getting into everything these days. He also figured out how to open the bedroom and bathroom doors, something I was hoping would take him a little more time to figure out! He's one smart and determined little boy.
