Jace's Train Birthday Party...He's TWO...TWO...TWO!!!

Jace's 2nd birthday party was a train themed party.  I think I had just as much fun planning it as we did at the party!  :)  We invited Jace's Grandpa & Grandma, Aunt Natalie & Uncle Thomas, and his cousins Cali and Ashton.  Thomas and Sheldon took all the kids to go play at the park while we decorated.  When the kids came back they were so excited.  Jace ran right over to the table to check everything out.  We started the party with a pizza dinner with salad and breadsticks.  After dinner we had a pinata, played pin the number on Thomas, Pass the Train (like Hot Potato), and Musical Trains (like Musical Chairs).  After that the kids blew bubbles outside with their train bubble blowers.  Then we had presents, then cake and ice cream.  Sheldon and I had so much fun celebrating our son's 2nd year of life and watching him enjoy his birthday party and all his presents.
Here's the table all decorated!
The games and presents were ready to go!!
Everyone got a party hat and goodie bag.  Jace had a special birthday crown to wear.

He was very excited about his new train cup and wanted to drink the soda right away.
He also wanted to check out his goodie bag ASAP.

Pinata Fun!!!

Jace and Ashton wanted to run around the circle more than play the games!!
But they loved Pin the Number on THOMAS.

Even the adults got in on the game.  Go Grandpa!!

Grandma showed Jace how to use his bubble blower.

Present Time!!

My parents gave Jace a motorized train.  He LOVES it and wants to ride on it all the time.  He did a lap around the neighborhood before he would even consider coming inside for cake.

Jace's Thomas the Train cake!!

Jace even blew out his candle and clapped afterwards.  He loved everyone singing to him.  We sang Happy Birthday to him twice.

Cupcake time with Daddy!!

The kids decided to keep the party going and played with trains for a long time afterwards.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR LITTLE JACE!!!

That was a really fun birthday party. Thanks for all your planning and sharing the event with us. We love Jace too. He's a lucky little two-year-old boy.
