Graduation Festivities Part 2

On Thursday Sheldon headed to school for a half day and afterwards the faculty hosted a picnic for all the graduating optometry students on campus. Jace and I met Sheldon there and enjoyed being back at Pacific University again.  Garrett, one of Sheldon's good friends at school, was excited to see Jace too.  That night we got a babysitter, one of the young women from our old ward in Forest Grove, and headed to Pumpkin Ridge Golf Course for a nice dinner put on by the Pacific Cataracts and Lasik Institute for all the new graduates.  My parents flew in late Thursday night so on Friday we got to have some fun while Sheldon was at school.  We got passes to the Columbia Employee Store, thanks to my friend Ameeta, and had lots of fun shopping there.  We also went out to eat at Burgerville, a really yummy fast food place in Oregon that uses ingredients made in Oregon for their food.  The strawberry shakes were so yummy!  Friday night we went to Portland for a banquet for the graduating class put on by the the class officers.  We had another babysitter that night so we could stay out a little later.  It was fun to have a graduation celebration each day before the real graduation on Saturday.

We enjoyed our rental house and all the beautiful flowers that were blooming outside.
