After we checked out of our condo for the night Jace and I were officially without anywhere to go until 3pm when we could check into our new place. So we headed to the zoo in the morning. Jace took his nap in the stroller and after he woke up we played at Waikiki Beach. After that we headed to our new place to check into our new home for the next month.
The stroller was packed with everything I would need for the day since Sheldon was at work and he had the car.
Jace had a great time throwing his ball into the water and would laugh when it came back to him in the waves.

After we got everything put away in our new place Jace and I were ready for some exploring. We headed over to the Hilton Hawaiian Village and went swimming in the lagoon. We also saw the penguins, turtles, ducks, flamingos, and Koi fish. Jace was very excited about it and kept running back and forth to look at everything. It was too hard for me to take any pictures of him looking at the animals since I had to watch him very closely that he wouldn't try to get in the water. :)
Jace gets to eat sitting on the ground since our table only has two chairs. He doesn't seem to mind.
We are living in a studio that is 400 square feet. The bed goes up into the wall and even then it's still pretty small. We don't really mind because we are so close to the beach now. It only takes us about 5-10 minutes to walk there. We also have an ocean view outside on our balcony and we are on the 21st floor in a high rise. It makes me kind of dizzy to look down.
Jace is sleeping in the pack n' play now. He was sleeping on the futon in our other place since it seemed like he preferred that to the pack n' play. He's sleeping great in our new place even though we are together in the same room. I am SO glad!!
We really enjoyed the lagoon. There are no waves and it's pretty shallow. It's perfect for Jace.
Jace really likes the elephant statue next to the TV and wants to sit on top of it to play with his cars.

Jace and I had so much fun at the Hilton that we decided to go back and take Sheldon with us since he only had a half day of work. Jace loves the lagoon and really wanted to touch the waterfall so Sheldon took him over to it. We had fun swimming in the lagoon and looking at the animals at the Hilton. On our way home we saw a spray fountain and let Jace play in it. He throughly enjoyed himself!

Sheldon only had a half day of work again so we headed over to Lanikai Beach. A cold front came and it was a cold day at the beach. We mostly had fun on the shore because it was too cold to get wet. Too bad Sheldon and I forgot our sweatshirts but I was very glad we had one for Jace.

Jace has been very interested in clothes lately. He brought me my swim suit top and wanted me to put it on him. It looked like a dress on him. I thought it was pretty funny.

Jace just noticed there are crabs in the sand. Here he is trying to get a closer look. I think his little squat is really cute. The background of the picture is the other side of the hike we did to the lighthouse. The point is where we hiked to and you can see the other two small islands in the distance.

Jace and I headed over to the International Market Place. The entrance to the market place is right off of our street. I had fun looking at everything and Jace had fun with his new shell necklace and car I bought him. Afterwards we had some Dole Whip pineapple ice cream. Delicious! I guess it's bad I know where to get the ice cream now especially because it's so close to our new apartment. I think I will be going back! We also went for a walk around the Sheraton and when Sheldon got home we headed to to the Hilton Hawaiian Village to see their weekly firework show they put on every Friday night.

We decided to go and hike to the Makapuu Lighthouse lookout. It is a two mile paved trail and there are beautiful views. We were able to see the island of Molakai in the distance as well as two other smaller islands called Manana Island and Kaohikaipu Island. Afterwards we headed to Bellows Beach from some fun.

After church and a nap we headed out to Kaena Point State Park. We finally drove on the west coast of the island, something we've wanted to do for a while now. We enjoyed the pretty views and we drove as far north as we could along the west coast. You have to hike a few miles to get to the point but we were content with just driving as far as we could go. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset and Jace had a lot of fun playing in the tide pools.
